What Memorial Day means in my neck of the woods is all of the 'city people' come up to stay until Labor Day or so. My normally quiet town hustles and bustles and comes alive. People walk the main strip hitting the quaint stores that put Wurtsboro on the map. Really, it's a wonderful thing! Jeremiah was in a parade and was so funny to watch. He just waved his little flag all over the place and hasn't stopped talking about it since! The Picnic Towels are off the loom and in the dryer as we speak! (.....yes....I know it's 12:13am! Call me crazy!) I ended up weaving four sets of two and each with a different pattern. I thought I had taken pictures of all of them but, this is the only one on the camera.....strange! I'll take better pictures tomorrow:) And now for the Waves and Water series! I'm so excited about these shawls, they are finally coming into play and I'm really happy with the results!!!
