The second issue of the newsletter was even a better success than the first!!!  We are dilligently working on Issue 3 and are looking forward to adding a featured fiber artist.  Our topic, you ask?  Well, felting of course!!!  I'm very excited to add some of our...................we'll call them trials and learning experiences with felt.  Both wanted and unwanted :)  We are still looking for anyone who wishes to share articles, patterns, ideas, or experiences with us for Issue 3. (Please see information below) Also.............................we have decided to add a Community section: Would you like to share photos of your finished projects ? In the future our community section will be used for posting photos.  As  we all know, one person’s creation is  a start to another’s imagination. If you would like to send in a photo of your finished project,  please include the project name, your name and state and be sure to type community in the subject line of the email. Please send information to newsletter@sunriselodgefiberstudio.com 1)      We would like to propose to anyone interested to submit an article about your experience with any aspect of fiber.  The article can be as long or short as you wish and the content of the article has to be fiber related.  Be creative, humorous, simple, complex, judgmental, unbiased, positive, negative…….whatever you wish.  Please also include a quick blurb about yourself and your art, if you wish.  Click here for copyright information and here for an optional release form . 2)      We are also looking, for those interested, for original patterns to be submitted for publication in the newsletter.  Patterns must be submitted with a photograph of the final product and, of course, you observe all rights to the pattern.  Also, include a quick blurb about yourself and your art, if you wish.  Click here for copyright information and here for an optional release form . 3)      If you wish to run an add in the newsletter, you can do so free of charge.  Do you have a store that you would like to promote?  Perhaps you sell yarn, spin your own yarn or run a cottage mill and are looking for another means of advertising.  All we ask is that you are a legitimate business.  We will, for the first issue, select 5 companies to advertise on a first come first serve basis.  Send us you add and contact information to us via us mail and we will contact you. 4)     If you are interested in our featured artist application, please email newsletter@sunriselodgefiberstudio.com and include information about yourself and why we should select you as our felting issue featured artist.  Please also include pictures of your work which can be a direct link to blog, website, etsy, ebay, or attached photographs.  Deadline for submission is July 29th 2007 for the Fall 2007 issue.  You will be contacted once your application has been reviewed.
