Inspiration

Welcome to the Inspiration Page!!! I was given the gift of using my hands to create. This gift was given to me by none other than God. When I gave my life to the Lord, I made a decision to do all that I do for Him. He gave me life and more blessings than I can possibly count so, in return, all that I do, I do for Him. Sunrise Lodge Fiber Studio has been in the works for a number of years now, starting as an idea and escalading to what it has become today. Being a product of a no to very little television home, we were encouraged to find other ways of entertaining ourselves. I found that any ‘craft’ that I touched, I could do. This started with simple cross stitch at six years old (I can still remember the feeling of working on that first project. Even the smell and colors of the chair that I sat in;) and eventually leading to crochet, knitting, making my own clothes, quilting, tatting, spinning, and weaving. (Over 20 years!!!) Although all of this was to keep me occupied, it also served another purpose. During the troubling times of my life, I found a comfort, therapy, and ‘deep breath’, so to say, in working with my hands. So, since I was given this gift by God, I want to give it back to Him. Every item that you purchase here, every piece of information, every picture that you look at, was thoughtfully prayed about. I believe in divine appointment and the fact that you are now taking the time to read this has purpose. We live in a lost world but, there is a hope and a light for those who are lost. Jesus Christ! He is the author and finisher of our faith! He has helped me find purpose in my life. Through prayer, patients, and the diligent seeking of Him, He will reveal to you the same. Jesus died on the cross to wipe away our sin. Making Jesus Christ your savior and accepting that isn’t about being religious, it is about having a relationship with God. God wants to have a relationship with you. No matter what your past is, no matter what your present is……..He loves you and wants that relationship. If you have never made Jesus Christ your personal Lord and Savior, pray this prayer: “Dear, Lord. I recognize I am lost. I need a savior. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for the sin of the world, for my sin. I accept you. Come into my heart and change me, make me new in you. Thank you for the second chance. In, Jesus name. Amen.” That’s all there is to it!!! Welcome to the family of God!!! You are now a born again child of God. Oh, He has blessing in store for you!!!
